Tone and Mark-Making Worksheet (Suitable for Cover lessons)
This worksheet was created to be used for cover lessons, allowing students to practice and recall their knowledge and skills of tone, shading and mark-making.
Useful for quick cover lessons, or just for general lesson time.
2 versions of the sheet are available, one is A4 and can be printed double-sided, and one is A3.
This worksheet would be most suitable for Key Stage 3.

Pop Art and Colour Theory Worksheet (Suitable for Cover lessons)
This worksheet was created to be used for cover lessons, allowing students to practice and recall their knowledge of Pop Art and apply in in a creative way.
Students will apply knowledge of Pop Art, Onomatopoeia and Colour Theory. Useful for quick cover lessons, or just for general lesson time.

Michael Craig Martin Project Booklet
This booklet allows students to explore the work of Michael Craig Martin through a series of different pop Art themed art activities. Including colouring, drawing and designing, colour theory, wordsearches, and research tasks, students will learn about michael Craig Martin’s art style, and practice applying this to a range of activities while exploring shape, colour and composition.
Useful to print individually for cover lessons or for general lesson time. This could also be used as a PowerPoint presentation for teaching the topic.

Tim Burton Project Booklet
This booklet allows students to explore the work of Tim Burton through a series of different art activities. Including colouring, design tasks, drawing and research tasks, students will learn about Burton’s art style, and practice applying this to a range of activities while exploring line, mark-making and illustration.

This simple plant-themed pointillism Powerpoint allows students of all Secondary Key Stages to learn and practice how to apply the technique of pointillism to complete an image.
Students will apply knowledge of building up tonal values using dots, and can practice by completing the tonal scale at the bottom of the worksheet.

A useful and aesthetic resource to support students of all Secondary Key Stages in writing about art/artists work.
This worksheet breaks down written work into focus areas: Content, Form, Process, Mood and Context. It also provides sentence starters to further support students for each of these focus areas. This resource is intended to be double-sided, but will still be useful even if this printing option isn’t available.

This worksheet used the artwork of Alphonso Dunn as inspiration, and students can complete the worksheet as you wish, whether you are teaching tone, mark-making, scale and proportions or (in my case) fineliner and water.
This resource has been differentiated based on the varying dissabilities of students, and can provide differeing challenge and support. It is most suitable for Key Stage 3, however could also be used for Key Stage 4.
